Teaching
Breath In.
Breath Out.
Yoga is a practice of coming home to yourself, cultivating awareness, compassion, balance, and connection so that you can move through life with greater presence and purpose. The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning ‘to unite’ or join. This concept of unity lies at the heart of yoga, bringing together the body, mind, and spirit.
Emma is trained to teach a variety of yoga styles and believes yoga is for everybody. Her classes create a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate greater self-compassion, self-acceptance, and wellbeing.
“Emma's classes are incredibly calming and supportive. It’s the perfect space to reconnect with myself and find genuine peace after a busy day.”
Teaching Styles
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that synchronises movement with breath, creating a flowing sequence of poses. The term ‘vinyasa’ comes from the Sanskrit words ‘vi,’ meaning ‘in a special way,’ and ‘nyasa,’ meaning ‘to place,’ reflecting the intentional placement of movements. We explore the ranges of our body, the power of our breath, and the depth of our minds. These classes offer a dedicated space for your wellbeing, that take you on a journey of self discovery and hope to inspire you on and off the mat.
Restorative Yin
Yin Yoga is instillness, softness, and cooling energy. This gentle yet powerful practice offers a chance to slow down and restore balance amidst the busyness of modern life. Through long-held, floor-based postures—often seated or lying down—we gently stretch and hydrate the body’s connective tissues, inviting deep release. Rather than striving or pushing, we focus on softening, surrendering to gravity, and allowing the body to open over time. Yin Yoga invites us into a meditative space, where both body and mind can settle. It’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a quiet, nourishing way.
